This post will be a little different than usual. One, it will be shorter :-). Also, it will describe a concept found in Hebrew writing that we need to understand to study scripture. It addresses the concept of parallelism.
Judgment, in the verb form, is a word most people tend to avoid. But to judge is the roll of the Church during the Millennium. What and who will be judged?
The term ‘five-fold’ ministry is not new. Almost everyone who claims to hold one of the offices mentions it at some point. The question is, what is it, what does it mean, and how biblical is it?
Have you ever heard it taught that Jesus went to Hell? When Jesus died and they laid him in the tomb, He went down to Hell. While there he preached and took keys from the devil, etc. Some even teach Satan burned and tormented Jesus in Hell for our sins! But where in scripture did it say any of this happened?
Oftentimes they are told they need faith or need to believe God to be healed. Uh, and you think they don’t? Isn’t every man given the measure of faith?

Sow a seed. Make a sacrifice. Give an uncommon seed for an uncommon harvest. You name it. The ploys to get people to give are numerous. The question you should be asking is this: Is it biblical? Show me one verse that proves it!
