“Truth is such a rare thing, it is delightful to tell it.” ~ Emily Dickinson

I’m Arthur Shomari Gause. This site comes from my desire and call to share the light of God’s Word. Sharing God’s Word is my passion, and to that end, I have served in ministry since the mid 80’s.

As this blog grows, it will be the culmination of over 10 years of renewed study of God’s Word, listening to and being taught by the Holy Spirit and studying with other like-minded believers. And I am still learning. You can help share and build on this knowledge by posting your comments and by suggesting topics for further study.

As you read the articles on this site, I ask one thing. Please study everything for yourself. That’s what Paul instructed Timothy to do in 2 Timothy 2:14 and the saints in Thessalonica did in Acts 17:11. We are accountable to God as individuals for what we know of His Word.

Thank you for visiting and I hope you discover something useful in your own study and Christian walk as we discover and share the light together…

Who am I more personally? I am a husband, father, and grandfather. I have a degree in IT and worked in my field for over 20 years. I love traveling, Sci-Fi, bowling, fishing, and ice cream 🙂 .

In 2016 I was diagnosed with a rare illness called Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).

It is the somewhat more insidious, but not as deadly as it’s cousin Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS). Unlike GBS which has some known triggers, CIDP is idiopathic, meaning as yet, doctors haven’t figured out how and/or why it happens.

For more information on CIDP or GBS, visit the GBS/CIDP Foundation International or watch the video below. God bless and thanks for visiting!
